Badminton for children who cannot afford to play — and a full account of every rupee.
Every rupee donated reaches the young players. StringKart pays for the travel, the procurement, the card charges and every other cost out of its own pocket — none of it comes out of what you give. That is a promise worth checking rather than trusting, which is why this page exists: the figures below are drawn straight from our payment records, and received minus spent always equals the balance shown.
Anything unspent stays in the pool and carries forward. It is never swept elsewhere and never becomes StringKart’s money. The closing figure is published at the end of every month and every financial year, below.
1 April to 31 March, the Indian financial year.
Donors are shown by number only. We never publish a name, and the number is the same one the donor sees on their own account.
Money is never sent to a school. StringKart buys the kit and hands it over, so each entry below is what was bought, on what day, for whom — with photographs of the handover. We keep the supplier invoice for every one of these; it is not published because it carries the supplier’s own commercial terms.
Money in a pool cannot be told apart once it is mixed, so we spend it oldest first — the earliest donation still unspent is the one that funds the next payout. That is a stated convention, not a claim that your particular rupees were carried to a particular school.
A donation is only recorded once the order it came with is paid in full. Cancel before we have paid the money onward and it is returned with the rest of your refund. Once it has reached a school it cannot be called back — we would rather say so here than have you find out at the time.
StringKart is a business, not a registered charity, and a donation made here is not tax-deductible. We do not issue 80G receipts. What we do is publish exactly what came in, exactly what went out, and to whom.
