This policy explains what StringKart collects about you, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the StringKart website and the services we provide through it.
We share only what the job needs, and only with:
Apart from OpenStreetMap’s public service, which we use only as a backup, each of these works for us under contract and may use your information only to do the job we gave them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also use Zoho PageSense on our Home, About, Contact, Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service and Privacy pages to understand visits and improve these informational pages. The PageSense script is not installed on our login, account, ordering, payment, order-tracking or staff-console pages.
PageSense may use cookies and browser storage to recognize repeat visits and process page URLs, referral information, visit times, interactions and browser/device information. Loading its script sends a request to Zoho, which receives network information such as your IP address. The enabled PageSense features determine the additional information collected. Do not put passwords, one-time codes or personal details in page URLs.
You can restrict cookies and site storage through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies can also prevent sign-in. For questions about analytics records, their retention or deletion, contact support@stringkart.in. Zoho's handling of information is described in its privacy policy.
If you have ordered from us, we may send you occasional offers and reminders. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and one click stops them for good. Order updates are not marketing, and will continue for as long as you have a live order with us.
Passwords are stored in a scrambled form that cannot be read back. Access to customer details inside StringKart is limited to the staff and partners who need them for your order. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and fix problems quickly when we find them.
We keep your account for as long as you use StringKart. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is closed.
We retain your order-related pickup and delivery addresses and map location only until your order is complete. Once it is complete, we remove that location and address information from our operational records. Address information included in an invoice we have already issued is subject to the tax and accounting retention exception described in section 8.
Racquet photo cleanup: Uploaded racquet photos are deleted from our system 5 days after your order is complete. Until then, we retain them as evidence of your racquet's condition at pickup and handover.
When native trip tracking is enabled, a Delivery Pilot explicitly selects assigned trips and confirms location sharing in the Android app. During those trips, the app collects location, accuracy and timestamps even when its screen is locked or another app is open. Authorized admin and support staff can view the latest fix for operational coordination. This information is not shown to customers or Hub users.
The app shows an ongoing notification with a Stop control. Collection stops when you stop it, permissions are removed, or its server-authorized lease expires after at most three minutes without renewal. Completed, cancelled or reassigned trips lose authorization. Force-stop and reboot do not automatically restart tracking. We do not collect an off-duty route history or queue a GPS trail while offline.
Only the latest coordinate is stored in the operational tracking table. Cleanup removes it within 24 hours after tracking ends under normal server operation; outages can delay cleanup. Historical database backups may retain earlier copies until their backup retention period expires. Staff opening the map link send that coordinate to Google Maps, which applies its own privacy policy. Contact us below for questions about staff location records or backup retention.
You can close your StringKart account yourself from My Account. If you cannot sign in, use stringkart.in/delete-account.html and we will confirm it is you before deleting anything. When an account is closed:
Two things are kept on purpose, and you should know about both:
We cannot finish closing an account while an order is still in progress or a membership is still active — anonymising it would remove the address a Delivery Pilot needs, and end a membership you paid for. Your request is recorded straight away and completes on its own once those are done. You do not need to ask twice.
Write to us and we will act on it.
Our service is safe for badminton players aged 7 and above. We do not, however, hold information about any of them.
If you believe a child’s details have reached us anyway — for example, typed into a note on an order — write to support@stringkart.in and we will remove them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The version shown on this page is the one that applies.
